Doctor's Comments
As an emergency room physician, Don doesn't have the luxury to worry about his vision in such a fast-paced and demanding situation. His patients depend heavily on him, as the slightest error can lead to very serious consequences. Having spent many years helping his patients, it was time for Don to take care of himself, namely his vision. He was very myopic (nearsighted) and his complex corneal aberration made him a perfect candidate for the Allegretto Laser Platform. Patients with prescriptions similar to Don's are generally the happiest after their procedure because of the dramatic and immediate improvement in their vision. I'm glad that Don can now help his patients without the hassles of dealing with glasses and contacts, as I'm sure his job in the emergency room is stressful enough.
