Patient's Comments
The first day after surgery, I woke up to put my glasses on as usual, and to my amazement everything was blurry. So I removed my glasses and for the first time I could see better without than with them on. I can't wait to go to work as a lineman for PG&E and use real safety glasses and test out my new eyesight. Thanks a million!
Doctor's Comments
Anthony decided to get LASIK because his poor vision and glasses were starting to become an occupational and safety hazard. He really wanted the convenience of being able to wear regular safety goggles at work. He fell into the category of refractive error called mixed astigmatism. Astigmatic refractive error causes a lot of distortion, especially under dim lighting conditions. Anthony had waited many years for technology to approve the Custom Wavefront treatment for those with mixed astigmatism and judging from his results, I'd venture to say it was definitely worth the wait for him.
