Patient's Comments
From the moment I stepped into the LaserVue Eye Center office, I got positive vibes--the staff was friendly, helpful, and very reassuring. Many of them have had the laser surgery and told me about their own experience and what to expect. This helped dispel my doubts about having the surgery. After the initial assessment, I was recommended to have PRK, which was a more conservative treatment with a longer recovery time. Dr. Bansal did another assessment and told me that if I was his sister, he would recommend Intra-LASIK instead. I really appreciated the extra time he took to ensure I got the best treatment, and I really felt that he had my best interests in mind. The staff continues to be warm, friendly, and supportive throughout the post-surgical follow-up appointments. I'm happy to say that my experience at LaserVue Eye Center was a positive one.
Doctor's Comments
Evelyn was a patient who could've been either a PRK (photo-refractive keratectomy) or Intra-LASIK candidate. Due to her thin cornea, it was important to ensure that she would have sufficient corneal tissue after her surgery. Both procedures would've offered that, with PRK being the more conservative approach. After a thorough discussion, both Evelyn and I came to the conclusion of performing Intra-LASIK and she is extremely pleased with her decision. The healing time was much shorter and she is seeing better than ever before.
