Patient's Comments
I am very pleased with my results from the PRK vision correction process. Before correction, I had 20/25 in my right eye and now I have slightly better than 20/20. The process was not painful and relatively quick. LaserVue was extremely professional and took much interest in my personal comfort and the overall healing process. My eye healed at a slower pace than others might, but by following instructions given to me, I made a full recovery in only a few months. I am very pleased with the process and would recommend it to anyone as an alternate to LASIK treatment.
Doctor's Comments
Keegan had decided to get PRK (photo-refractive keratectomy) because of his career aspirations. There are very specific and strict guidelines for pilots in both the public and private sectors. In his case, we would've ususally done LASIK; however, we did not want the possibility of anything that may interfere with his long and bright future. Having gone with PRK instead, he will not be limited by the FAA regulations and will in fact, widen his future endeavors. Good luck Keegan.
