For Nancy, her new 20/20 vision has brought on this sense of rejuvenation and empowerment. I hear this a lot from my patients after their surgery. When they were dependent on something, they would feel like they were constantly held back in some way from pursuing new changes in life. Sometimes, there's a surge of newfound confidence post-operatively in those who weren't happy with how they looked in glasses. No matter the reason, it's wonderful to see patients seeing and feeling better about themselves afterwards.
