Patient's Comments
My experience was very positive. I had looked into having someone else do my surgery but never felt comfortable with their staff (they were neither friendly nor informative). So I didn't feel like I could trust them with my eyes. I was feeling pretty discouraged but then I came into LaserVue and everyone from reception to the doctor was incredibly nice and answered all my questions. They made me regain the confidence that laser correction was the right choice for me. Thank you for protecting me from myself. The follow-up visits were very important in learning more about caring for my eyes and how my vision would progress. I learned more here in a year about "eyecare" than I did in over 25 years going to Kaiser! Thank you.
Doctor's Comments
Sonya first came in with a great sense of dubiety about LASIK in general. She really wanted to get it done but voiced her concern about not being a candidate at the same time. Her consultation had involved a lot of education and clarification on unfortunately, some of the misinformation she had been given from before. I'll never forget the look on her face when I told her that she was actually a great candidate for LASIK. Today, she's glad that she followed her heart and curiosity to search out the facts; otherwise, she would still be wearing her contacts and thinking that she can never have this done.
